It's been October for like seventeen hours.

Here in Canadia, October is a couple hours away yet. Which is good, because that means that snow is farther away[Fine, it doesn't work that way. I just like to cling to any delusions that spare me from objectively eternal winter].

Here in NB Canadia, it's been October for about...an hour an a half. I agree. The longer we stay in autumn, the less soon the apocalyptic hell we Canadians call 'winter' will show up.

And I'm in Alberta, where it snowed in Late August/Early September.

Translation, using small words: my local stick-hitting-ball team did very very good for the first time in tens of years. They will get to go to a special group of games where they will play against other stick-hitting-ball teams that did very very good. They have not gone to this group since before I was born. The game they played not even six hours ago was a very very hard game. Both teams played so well that this game was longer than normal games.

I was inspired by xkcd's "Up-Goer Five" comic, which explains the Saturn V using the one thousandten hundred words that people use most often. This is what spawned the "you will not go to space today" meme.

Finally got around to meditating on my angst about my old crush.

I still cried, but it wasn't much. I actually felt better for once too.
