I suppose I should've elaborated.

If you ask me, a game with no conflict is hard to sell, because there is no challenge, in the traditional sense, along with how most traditional conflict is something not allowed in real life. An MMO with no conflict would be boring, because MMOs almost always have some kind of traditional conflict; tackling traditional conflicts you could not otherwise do is why they're fun.

Fishing with friends? I can do that in real life.

Or (c) your own house in a scenic rural village with a small population which you are friends with in its entirely that happens to be filled with hundreds of distinct fish and insects or (d) enough currency to remodel your own house on a whim and collect all the furniture and objects you want. Or (e) a cafe in walking distance with a laid back singer who does weekly shows in which he takes requests and gives out cds of his music for free at the end of every show
