Fun fact!:
Cockroaches are actually quite fastidious cleaners, and germs themselves actually have a tough time in the first place sticking to them, so they are about as dirty as the environment they are currently in.
Also, I've never bothered with killing insects, I find it cruel and at times hypocritical when my vegetarian mom and dad decide that spraying them is the best course of action.
Of course, doing nothing if they are in your house is even worse, as you are condemning them to a slow and painful death trapped inside an alien world.
Another fun fact: Bees have the most compact grey matter comparative to their size in the world, and have been known to show emotions like sadness, depression and happiness.
Fun fact the III: Wasps don't normally attack a F****** TITAN unless they or their hive are in grave danger, also, onion cuts placed on the site of a wasp or bee sting does help relive the pain.
To make sure here, i'm not taking sides, I just revel in being proven wrong on everything, though onions do actually do relive stings.

YES! I got the internet to work in my dorm!

Yesterday, I moved into my dorm at college. I've got a big room, cool roommates, and an ocean view, if you stick your head out of the window!

Fun fact: In Python, "False" evaluates to True.
False.
No u.
u what

Fun fact: In Python, "False" evaluates to True.
False.
Yeah, I just did it and that's not actually correct in Python.
Code: [Select]
>>> bool ("False")
True
Code: [Select]
>>> bool ("False")
True
Interesting. And yet,
Code: [Select]
>>>"False" == True
False
I should look into the nuance of why things get cast differently in those different statements. There's probably a very good reason.

In other news, I slept for 10 hours and I feel great.

"False" evaluates as True when casted or used in a conditional like "if "False": ...". This is because all strings are True when casted to a boolean. Only empty strings ("") are False.

Meanwhile, "False"==True compares if the string "False" is the same as the boolean value True. Which it's not. So, False is returned. Fun fact, languages like PHP (and maybe Javascript) do actually evaluate "False" as equal to True.

As for
Or that's what I know.

Yeah, okay, so I looked into it. Evidently, the equality operator does not do any casting, as I'd assumed it did for some reason. Which accounts for it; I expected "is" to be the operator you'd want for that sort of behavior, but in retrospect of course object identity is still a much stricter condition than that, and you generally don't want objects of different types being able to compare as equal.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Then the law is inherently corrupt. Kill or be killed. This is fine...kill, because you don't like the look of something, or fear that it might cause you some discomfort? If a woman were to cause as much pain to you everyday, would you kill her? Presumably, you'd simply avoid her, live and let live.

When you kill that wasp, you kill something unique. There will never be one quite like it ever again. It is the culmination of centuries upon centuries of evolution, it had lived and, as a species, survived because of an inbuilt defensive mechanism. This mechanism, this self defense that it hasn't even used on you (nor will it, if it gets the chance) is what condemns it to death.

yeah, it's a pretty major fucking difference between said woman and ants, because i can go to court and have the woman fuck off, and there is no such thing as a court for ants

that or i'm too large to attend

if there was no legal means of removing said woman sure stabs are probably in order it's not like the cops can do shit about it

I, for one, welcome our new Ant Overlords.

But in all seriousness, that's not quite the point I'm making. I'm saying killing for no reason is just needlessly cruel. If there's a reason, then it may be cruel, but at least it's not needless.

Oh, personally, I don't like them near me. But I wouldn't kill it. That would just make me a Supreme Bastard. Much worse than the possible sting they could inflict on me.

I think I've managed to remember and not forget anything else that happened and is supposed to happen at this time for my game.
It's still causing massive player confusion, that which did happen, but at least it was what was supposed to happen, and I didn't forget anything else, now that I've remembered and corrected a couple mistakes.

GO beat me to it. Them and bedbugs (among others) are both things that a kind and loving world would have never let exist. Correcting that mistake is a noble goal.

Also anaphylactic shock is a thing. Every dead wasp is one less chance a human dies in a pretty horrible manner. Sure, you can try to avoid them, but they're tiny and often hard to see or notice until it's too late and your throat has declared blood feud on the rest of you.
