I'm pretty sure DF creatures will be able to look and comment on their reflections soon enough, to solidify these theories. I mean, we did just find out that technically "adventurer" mode is just you possessing a poor lad and forcing them to murder people while they cry.

“So that the room will be empty.”

Yeah, that's because converting a string to a boolean just checks to see whether it's empty or not.

Or whatever, that's what I figured the reason was.
