Can I re-rail the thread, or are we going to continue devolving into madness and talking about horrible things we've eaten? (a] I have a new job, and b] my brother in law is scottish. I've seen haggis. In a can. It's...one of the most horrible things ever. Given the choice, I'd take the cat meat.)

That only counts on reply 9001 or so. Otherwise it's just... meh. I mean, technically this one is over 9000 too. And the next. But it would be bizarre to have every single poster after post 9000 shout that.

I get to cash my first check from my new job later today when the banks all open. I love my new job. (I know no one's interested, but I get paid to stand around and chit-chat about computers. ^_^)

I managed to become the sales rep for Hewlett Packard for my hometown. Not sure how it happened, but it did, and I enjoy it.

I bought the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe for $7.99 today, in hardcover, and it's as big as a dictionary.  I'm one step closer to completing my awesome home library.
