I can confirm the fact that Wii games work on WiiU.
I can't be alone in thinking that Skyward Sword was the best melee combat system for Zelda? Though I agree that Fi and Navi bear some similarities... and the story was lacking something, or maybe had too much 'filler'.

Weighing in on the weight discussion:
164.4 lbs -> 73.98 kg
5'11.499" -> 181.6 cm
I can lift ~25 lbs in each hand. So, 50 with both hands together. However, I don't make a habit of doing so, because work regulations forbid me from carrying anything weighing more than 20 lbs.

My current happy: I just have 29 items to go on my checklist of 150 items.
My other current happy: I got some more M:tG cards recently, and my token deck is starting to take shape; I also pulled a sliver, though, which is awesome.

The storyline was between meh - good, but the real problem with it is the melee combat. Really, the WiiMotionPlus (or wherever the hell the spaces go) just screws up too much for it to be viable to do again.

You don't understand. That is quite possibly the best thing anyone has ever done with a gamebook.

The more I look at it, the more I wonder what is just off-page to the right, that has the adventurers and their pet dragon so alarmed.

So the guy who makes "Humans of New York" has moved onto Ukraine, although I am willing to bet my favourite shoes he did it due to its ondoing conflics with eeeeeevil Russia. Nevertheless, I am glad that thousands of white-guilt riddent facebook users that write such inspiring platitudes in the comments under his pictures will get to see starving children that aren't from Africa.

Huh.
So this problem is not just my own.
I feel happy knowing I'm not alone being half-an-inch shorter than that threshold.

I have conveniently forgotten to mention that the weight denomination was the R'lyeh pound, something mortals cannot comprehend.
I am also 13424 R'lyeh i'unch-eghs tall.
