I saw this and had to share it. I'll need somebody more familiar with Metal Gear to tell me how accurate it is, you see.

Fixed the TV. The TV had to be set to channel 3 for it to recognize the cable box. Of all the things they tried to get it to work since I was gone, no-one thought to change the channel.

Nope, just fools. Probably just laziness in my step-dad's case, but definitely ineptitude in electronics in my mother's case.
