As long as this thread is used for general chat bullshit anyway, there was a 3.7 magnitude earthquake in Washington D.C. today.  That's pretty cool, in a Roland Emmerich kind of way.

Wait, what? Seriously? Damn, a shame I could not have felt was little small vibration that felt like. Nothing interesting ever really happens here, protests and walks notwithstanding.

When I preformed my daily morning check ups on my little babies I was made happy once again because "Mass Effect" "Mass Effect 2 And "Dragon Age: Origins" Where all spotless so I continued to polish and clean them and there cases.

Just 5.5 months until I can move out.  Nothing is "wrong," per se, but I still can't wait to get out of here.  It becomes more apparent every day that my parents don't really want me around, no matter how much they say they do.

I'm excited to be hitting the almost-halfway mark ~

On all-too-related note, it's the weekend.  After the week I've had, and the week I'll probably have, that is a good thing.  I'm doing my best to squander it in the most cathartic ways I can manage.  And I my have finally gotten my motivation to write stuff.

Also: Got my hands on my dad's copy of Dune 2: Battle for Arrakis and spent a few hours on that.

Dune 2 is rather fun. Harkonnen, as far as I know, is the easiest campaign. But the Ordos are fun to play as, difficult as they are. Nothing like using deviators on a Harkonnen devastator, guiding it towards his allies, and detonating them in the crowd. A crowning example of a dick move in that game; aside the Harkonnen Death Hand (and owning maybe 15+ palaces for absolute overkill, like I did when I finished off the game). Nothing like seeing squads of 3 death hands smash House Corrino simultaneously at a time, seconds from each other, and seconds-per-wave from each other as well. Yes, 5 salvos of triple-handing the bases at a time. Who needs radar? "death hand launch--death han--death hand launched." is all you would hear from my side, and just as bad on the receiving end.
