Why serotonin?

I want to have the big three for happiness and excitement. Serotonin, adrenaline, and dopamine. I started with serotonin because it was a relatively easy one to draw.

You know, initially I assumed that it's a regular tatoo inked in a neurotransmitter.

My ex had an oxytocin tatoo. She never forgave me for pointing out it wasn't drawn at physiological pH, and thus represented the hormone extracted from a body and held in a basic test tube. :p

I have various idears for tattoos, like a Scottish-Canadian flag, a thistle in front of a maple-leaf (that's separate from the flag), a mantle of... things on my shoulders, scales or leaves or something else like that. And various quotes like

This Too Shall Pass

"The singers sings sad songs, where men would fight and kill."

"To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape."

"We burn the present for the sake of a brighter future and act surprised when all it holds is ash."

I have had various other ideas but I don't remember them by the time I get to my computer to write them down. I should keep a notebook on me. For it happens a lot, and not just aboot tattoo idears.
