I discovered the wonders of Maine Root sodas. Torchy's Tacos, a well known taco place in Austin, has them in its soda machines; and it's just down the road. Including a really great one that isn't widely distributed: Prickly pear juice lemonade. This stuff is the culmination of everything lemonade ever wanted to be but couldn't. You can't even buy this stuff on their website, and yet there's a soda machine with infinite prickly pear lemonade.

We get stuff like that at Costco all the time. Pretty good.

I have regained some of my mental defenses. This is absolutely a good thing and it makes me very happy. In other news, I hang-ed out with my lesbian friend last night. We went out to the bar, and it was PACKED. I walked in the door and people I knew were already telling me we were going to do shots. I do not live that kind of life. I sit at home most of the time playing video games. It was a shock, an AWESOME shock, to walk into a crowded bar and have several people shout my name and demand I join them in ritualistic self-poisoning.

The owner, one of the cooks I used to work with, and the bartender all bought me and my friend free drinks, and I drank a good couple on my own tab, then me and my LF went and played pool. Cutt-throat, with another of the people I used to work with. I did mediocre until I had one ball left, then I finished off my LF's last ball, and took out the other person's three without missing a beat. It was epic.

I realized that I have more than one friend. I know a lot of people around here. o.O And also alcohol can be very fun.

I avoided a hangover somehow, but I was exhausted today, because I didn't sleep at ALL yesterday, then last night I only slept maybe five or six hours. It's okay, it was a good day anyway. Mostly.
