I just picked up a hardly used, hardcover, Oxford-published edition of Monier-Williams' 1800-page A Sanskrit-English Dictionary on eBay for $60. In this moment, I am euphoric.

I was also elected to the officer position of "Sergeant-at-Arms" for my university's chapter of the national honor society for classicists.

It's a Spanish sausage, heavily spiced, mostly with paprika. It's excellent.

edit: Well, Spanish and Portuguese, and pretty much everywhere that was colonised by either or those nations)

Well other than the above, there's the hint of spices as well as a rubbery(?) chewy tangy taste to it. Tastes good when eaten alone or with a complement.

What does chorizo taste like, anyway?

It's kind of like a sausage, but more spicy, 'stronger' (or that's just my tastebuds and smell messing up), and waaaaaay better. Still, AFAIK, there are many types of chorizo all over the world, and each region has different styles, so the chorizo Tiruin has in the  Philippines is probably different from the one we have in Central America, and that one is probably different from the Spanish or Portuguese one.
