I thought that too until I cleaned up and defragged my hard drive and saw the difference.
Oh all the stuff there is either essential or I dont want to touch it. It's not that big a drive.

Yeah no. It's bad. Really bad. Though this all depends on the actual size of your hard drive.

Though some games by themselves these days use a swap file over one GIGABITE. So... Yeah you probally need to upgrade or realize there's no way you are actually down to bare essential stuff.
Runs the games I play just fine. Sure I cant buy commercial games but then again who can am I right?

If you only have two gigabytes of space available for use on your hard drive, you need to upgrayedd.

An upgrade would be nice, but it would also be a hastle.

With proper management it really isn't at all.

Oddly enough, my larger hard drive has far less space in it than my original (smaller) drive.

The again, I have made it the primary storage for gaming, design, and such. Thanks to Steam and some lurking around, that thing filled up quickly. Hell, I can't even install all of the steam games I bought without bogging it down. If only I had another hard drive to store all the excess data that doesn't need to be on the larger drive.

After the number of games I have purchased on steam(I can't resist the sales...) My computer couldn't even hold all of them if I deleted everything else on it. 230 GB don't mean much when you have 70 games, many of which are 5+ gigabytes.
