I have rediscovered the joys of bacon. My roommate cooked up like a half pound of it last night for breakfast burritos, and I just had a delicious bacon sandwich with like 12 pieces of bacon on it. Life is good.

I've been trying to work up the courage to go talk to a young lady who stocks the liquor department on Wednesdays, and I finally did it today.

It was AWFUL. I walked up, and I said, "Uh, can I ask you something? Er, I mean talk to you for a moment. Er. Ah, I have the hiccups, and I'd heard that if you talk to a beautiful woman, it'd make your hiccups go away. *Almost sotto voce, I was trailing off a bit right here* And I think it worked..." She laughed, and smiled a bit, and I said, "My name is Jacob." And shook her hand (Awful.) Then I asked her name, and said, "Ah, well. I just wanted to say that. Thanks for letting me."

Like I said, awful.

Ok, a very small happy: I've re-ignited a love for pokemon upon watching the Two Best Friend's Nuzlocke LP, and when I heard that random trading is a real thing, in the form of Wonder Trading, I finally buckled and got Pokemon X just to try it out. I'm really loving it so far.

I'm currently playing under the stipulation that every single pokemon I catch or otherwise acquire MUST be traded away through Wonder Trading for a random pokemon of a stranger's choice, and I can't re-trade pokemon I get so I'm stuck with them. My team is still horrendously overpowered despite these measures.

But one funny thing is that every pokemon I catch, I name it something stupid for when I trade it away, cause I learned that traded names can't be changed. These names include:

Herbalesence
michljackson
jungajapes

and my favorite so far is: STONK!

Probably 10 STONK's have been distributed so far. Too bad I can't see people's reactions.
