I sort of feel you. My family has been rather involved with gay rights, as my aunts are lesbian. Since they (and me) live in California, they're getting married next month. Looking forward to the wedding, as I get to see the cousins I haven't seen for about a year.

Well we can't travel very far, so we asked locally. They're not even giving out those partnership things for same sex couples here. So we have no real options till something big and sweeping and unavoidable comes to texas.
