Today I have been trolled the hardest in what seems like ages.
See, there's this whole Awesomenauts: Starstorm expansion hype going on, especialy as of late when the devs are releasing teasers in relation to the big upcoming update (new character, three new OST tracks, replays, balance changes...a pretty big package I'd say.)
Today they've revealed a new track, but I've already posted about it (it's awesome!).
Soon after, one of my friends sent me a link to a video she supposedly found in the CSS of the page with all the teasers.
Said video was unlisted and was on a channel that looked exactly like the one used by the game devs, and it contained a fairly good piece of music, but at the same time it felt kinda out of place (then again, the WMM-made text in the video said "STARSTORM MAP MUSIC #5 final Part #2", so I assumed that it wasn't complete.
(basically the new map that's coming in the expansion is supposed to have its own exclusive music track that won't play on other maps, something that's not yet in this game)
I thought it was meant to be a leak for dataminers to find and make hype off of and so told a few others about it and started to get pretty excited until she (ie. the one who sent me the link) revealed to me that this was an early April Fool's joke and that there's no actual leak teaser.
That just made my evening even better, actually.
The channel and the video I'm talking about don't exist anymore (since it would get her in legal trouble if they were to stay), but daaamn. Should've paid more attention to that 0 subs/0 movies count.
