This is a very well done song, and it has a whole host of extra connotations to me.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Hmm... would wraitheism be something like worshiping the Nazgul?

Also it's Curry Day again. By which I mean the day I make the curry, since I eat it all day erry day. A giant bowl of (even better this time) cheeseburger curry and a mug of hot tea make fine accompaniments to unreasonably awesome episodes of anime.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It's more like wratheism - the worship of one's righteous fury.

All you dirty atheists have to do is open your fat, fedora wearing eyes and see the glorious proof of the Flying Spaghetti Monster all around you.

Huuuh. I guess you could start with a red velvet batter base? Then figure out a way to thin it without making it taste horrific. Then add chocolate and boil. Boil and add chocolate. Whatever.

What's the appropriate method for liquefying a cake for consumption, anyway? You'd think something like a milkshake (cakeshake) would be doable, m'just not quite sure how. I mean, they've got slurry stuff that's cake flavored, but those tend to taste unilaterally horrific. What I'm saying: Start with actual cake, work way forward.

Couldn't just blend a baked cake, though, I don't think. Well, you could, but the texture would be atrocious. Would have to start somewhere in the batter phase. Maybe... hrm. Maybe if the cake itself was really thick and creamy instead of fluffy or whatever you could work it, I'unno. Wish I had more experience with baking. Confections in general. Near solid red velvet hot chocolate. Is intriguing.

To be honest, at this point I'm just wondering how you'd make a hot-chocolate-level heated milkshake. Somewhat thicker chocolate syrup. Heated, slightly smoother chocolate mousse. Go down like sweet cocoa silk.

I... I've never tried to boil a milkshake. Have a heated one, in general. It's now on my list. Because... why haven't I done that yet?

... thing is, it'd probably just melt. So the question is how to pull off a sweet heated slurry while still maintaining the milkshake texture. Maybe go 50/50 batter/icecream, then add milk while slowly warming? Maybe... maybe something involving peanut butter. I know it mostly keeps its consistency when fairly warm... really wishing I had the discretionary funds to experiment, now :-\

Well since it's being done by the co-founder of Rocket Jump (Freddie Wong's ridiculously popular company), it'll probably reach it's kickstarter and actually be a thing.

Looking back on the Foundation website, I realized they started the third series (SCPs 2000-2999). I look through the first 6 or so that were up, up to SCP-2014 (a few of those numbers were empty, as is logical for a 1000 size block; they fill the block in sporadically rather then numerically), and most of them were really good. Two or three of them completely blew me away, especially SCP-2000 (Techno-babble with style) and SCP-2013 (Never have I seen the reptilian conspiracy thing done so well, it's a SCP-1000 like take on them.)

Tomorrow I head off to Arlington for a conference. I have to say, It's a little weird I'm going south of the Mason-Dixon line and there is still snow in my future.
