Except for Last Airbender but that's a mythical movie that never happened so I can't watch it and it can't hurt me.
It's not worth it. I found it very boring and cheesy. With the exception of one of the later death scenes, which was surprising brutal compared to the rest of them.

Oh look, I have a steam account.
Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Makes me sad. The movie adaptation (*hiss*) is not even a good take on the real origin.

Saddens me to see people not like the origin because of the movie (seriously, the movie shouldn't even be considered a serious take on it. For many reasons).

And yeah. It isn't worth it.
Especially if you know the origin.

The original show is pretty good! I mean, I could be better, but the movie also shows us that it could be much, much worse.

Only if you hilariously miss how deep the show's background of theoretical 'how this works' goes.

Because by looking into how the director saw it: he ignored 90% of the background details in that field. And focused more on cinematic flair.

And 'pretty good' is an understatement. :P But that's just me saying so because I'm looking deeeeep into the concepts behind how everything was made.
._.
Hence my happies. So much delving into history. So much culture and belief retention.
And the martial arts moves mimicking those in Real Life which many people don't usually see..
yeah.

This. I loved the show as a kid and I still do. The movie version, well, no. Just no.

I was never able to watch shows in a serialized format as a kid. For one, I usually ended up watching reruns of shows because I was usually busy with schoolwork and whatnot, (My parents had a strict "no free time until your homework is done" policy, which kind of makes me wonder how I ended up as such a procrastinator) and when I was able to catch new episodes, I wasn't caught up enough to understand what was going on. I mainly watched shows like Spongebob and Invader Zim, where each episode had its own contained plot that didn't really require much backstory to understand.

Happy event of the month: I'm getting injected with anthrax!

...

It's possibly I need to change my lifestyle if getting injected with a bio-weapon is the highlight of my month.

Wait, people watch movies for the story? I thought they were just VFX showcases. :v

VFX is where the real movie art's at these days. :D

Seriously, that's like reading playboy for the articles. /graphics programmer

Y'know, I'd say that becoming immune to a biological weapon, being able to walk unscathed through the aftermath of a deadly chemical composition, would probably make my month.  Heck, sounds like a pretty awesome year at that point.  On another note, why are you getting injected with anthrax?

It means his dark plans are coming to a head, and he must die by the full moon so that he may rise as the Dark Lord our world knows not that we cry out for.

Though we will be repulsed by him and cry tyranny, we dearly need his iron hand to guide us to the new dark millennium, and seize our birthright as masters of this world and the next.

It's a program for plasma donors who evidence reliability and high-yields. They inject us with anthrax, let our systems incubate the antibodies, and then they harvest it twice a week for the creation of anthrax immune globulin for treatment of anthrax infected patients. The practical upshot is that my plasma will be worth 100$ a stick instead of 20$, and I'm immune to anthrax for a good long time.

It means his dark plans are coming to a head, and he must die by the full moon so that he may rise as the Dark Lord our world knows not that we cry out for.
