Okay, I'm rooting for the Seahawks, but this is getting depressing. I might have to post in the Sadness thread too. Those looks of anguish on Manning's face. ;-;
This.

Yeah... This is really difficult to watch. I think I preferred when we were getting technical difficulties.

I've mostly succeeded in my goal of drawing a simpler yet recognizable version of a heraldic lion. Aside from the tail, which currently looks like either a stylized lion's tail or a thorny tulip, and I can't tell which. Anyway, whoever's to the left about this thing is about to get fuckin' mauled.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Ah, so you went for Lion Rampant (One paw on the ground)? Or did you go Salient (Two paws on the ground)?

What's wrong with using magma? That's almost always the easiest method.
I have issues channeling it properly to do that method. I end up flooding the fortress with magma.

L & P is indeed a rather good soda, but personally I love bundaberg ginger beer, it tastes like real ginger and real sugar!
On that note if you want dr pepper in australia avoid places like night owl where they have overpriced imported american food stuffs like american dr pepper, it tastes like corn syrupy ass.
My local coles however has imported british dr pepper which does indeed taste like the great sugar flavoured taste sensation which I remember from back when they made it in australia for a short time back in the 90's.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

On the subject of sodas:

I'm not a big fan of Ginger Ale, but it's nice on occasion.

I'm sort of falling out of fruity sodas. The more sour ones seem to be amplified too much by the carbonation. Grape soda goes right through me. Something milder like strawberry is better, but still just ok. Sprite is similar, but more bland.

I find Mountain Dew is ok, but kind of bland. My dad swears by it.

I do not like rootbeer.

Dr Pepper tastes too much like rootbeer (but I already said that).

I haven't had a cola that I didn't like. Even the cheap store-brand stuff is enough to satisfy me. Coke isn't as harsh as Pepsi, but Pepsi tastes better.

It's a patent on the gameplay of Katamari.

It's a patent, so another company can't just copy the gameplay of Katamari Darmacy and call it a different name. As far as I understand about patents this isn't as limiting as it seems because variations on mechanics can exist, it's just exact copies that can cause problems.

The concept of using a large, spherical object to adhere smaller objects while moving around a predefined area with the goal of increasing sphere size. Wonder if it covers kingly crotches. :P

There are other games that involves rolling a ball around a path, like "Ballance" and "Rock of Ages" I believe it was called.

Oh, and as for fizzy drink. I rarely drink any, but tend to have Solo or Sprite when I do. Tea every other time, either that or orange/apple juice.
