I'm happy to hear it's going well and you feel like there's something good happening already. Definitely a time for the happy thread :P

Mental healthcare specialists FTW! Good to hear it's working out for you, Vector.

Yeah!  Thank you.  My brain feels like it's made of jelly, but I'm resting at home now and feeling good.

The Snow. It is just coming down and down and down. It's beautiful.

Doesn't it make you want to go and defile that white purity?

In that weather my hands would freeze while fumbling with my belt.

Also I don't really like defiling snow. I'd rather it stay nice and fluffy, at least until Mayor de Blasio decides he has seen enough and calls school off for tomorrow. It's single digit degrees man, not including the 20 mph wind chill. Close the schools already.

Single digit degrees get schools closed?

...or are you on about Fahrenheit? If the latter, I have no clue. Celsius, though, would be rather silly.

Misko is in the New England region of USA, IIRC. I think he meant Fahrenheit. So, single digits would be... One or two Celsius.

32 degrees Fahrenheit is equivalent to 0 degrees Celsius. If Misko is talking, say, 5 degrees F, that would be -15 C.

Accuweather has a nifty function in the upper-right corner that allows me to switch between degrees. Right now it's 8 degrees F here, Real Feel -16 F. In Celcius, that's -13 degrees, Real Feel -27. Remaining snow expected: 1-3 inches.

That Wind chill is srs bzns. It isn't that bad when the wind is at your back. Going against it is just terrible, especially with the snow flying into your face.

I'm beginning to consider the possibility that these damn fish oil capsules are crucial to my mental health. Having gotten a new bottle, I'm feeling much less unfocused and depressed, and in retrospect that problem started about the same time as I ran out. Evidently, the cod liver oil I cook with has been insufficient, or it's just a coincidence.

Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

*oily high five?*

Wait no that doesn't sound appealing somehow. Maybe the oil should remain gelatinized.

What? Fish oil comes in pills. You take the pill, and the next day, your mind feels a little sharper. Even if it's a placebo, it's a good effect.
