Today I learned that Hanslanda is a goddamn wizard. It was a good day.

Wait, so he's a Time Lord and a wizard? That seems pretty overpowered.

It's okay, Time Lord only gives a +12 to intelligence and that wonky regeneration effect. The Time Lord powers and Wizard spells don't stack, and I can still only use one a turn. /dnd jokes

Got a message today which stated that last month, in terms of fuel efficiency, I was in the top 9% of drivers in my division. This qualifies me for a chance to win a substantial bonus, but even if I don't win there's the comfort that I'm kicking ass and taking names. Sorta.

I learned that instead of midterms, for honors english we have to "Change the zeitgeist" of any 3 books of The Odyssey. Should be a piece of cake, being a fairly good writer if I do say so myself.

Though I'm really tempted to base all the characters on a bunch of people from Bay 12 in an effort to not take it seriously at all.

I've had my new computer for a few weeks now and I finally got fancontrol on here. It's quiet now!

Stupid chassis fans go full-blast if I don't set them manually for some reason. Normally a sensor chip on the mobo itself controls the fans automatically, but you can override that with various software that "manually" sets it every X seconds. So fancontrol automatically manually sets the fan speed.

But you had to do all that manually. By which I mean you gave commands to have your computer automatically do it.
