I think they also do it to run around the city in full ninja gear at night.
This is a totally acceptable bit of wish fulfillment, especially considering that they're also helping people in need.

If anyone happens across a link to that interview, you know what to do.  :P

Jet powered dino boxing, anyone?

Does anyone want to sig this last part? Otherwise, I'm taking it.

It's been a few hours and no one else has tried to claim it.

Alright, let's just make some room here:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Sorry, greatorder, you had a good quote, but it's 2014 now. Time to make room for jet-boxing dinosaurs.

I use a crystal jar and a water boiler to prepare 1L of tea at a time, which I then dillute into a 2L jar with cold water. I cool two 2L jars of these and use it as a sugarless soft drink.

By the way, despite the fact that I use bona fide red tea, which is kind of expensive, I estimate that overall it ends up being cheaper than an equivalent volume of commercial soft drink.

Why can't you just make a new post in sigtext? GreatWyrmGold did so.

Because some folks feel it loses much of the value if you have to follow a link to see someone's sig.  Still serves a good role as a repository of legacy sigs and quotes in my opinion, but I don't change my sig often enough to have used it myself yet.

I've never followed a link to see someone's sig. It's basically a second OOC quotes thread then rather than a sig.

I know, I have one. My sig is currently perfectly informational, but it also did not have a link at any point in the past. But I still keep it.

But if you want to keep track of it, why not?

Nobody ever follows a "sigtext thread" link. It's pretty much the anti-thesis of actual sigging - putting a quote there makes sure nobody will ever actually read it instead of letting people see it in your every post.

But they'll still reply to someone who said something cool with "Sigged!", as if it means something.

I'm pretty sure everyone who uses the sig thread just uses it as a place to store quotes they like.

Text files are hard to understand okay?

I've found a delicious yet disturbing way to spend my leftover meals at the end of the week: the purchase of one-gallon jugs of Raising Cane's iced tea. I luckily mix it half-and-half with unsweet, but even so, I fear I may be tempting beetus.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

That's actually not caused by excess sugar consumption.
