I would hope we would be reminded of that, considering that he was referencing that directly...
Actually, no. I didn't even know about that video before he posted it. I just thought it would be funny, since this is her second day on the forums.

oh my god my friend got me kerbal space program and made a Doom map wherein you fight a thousand enemies at once on top of a cake with a BFG and infinite ammo oh my god so awesome
You can't do that in KSP. You sure you're not thinking of Starbound?
No, it was in Doom...

I think "got me kerbal space program" and "made a doom map" are two entirely separate events.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Oh. Crap. I thought he was saying that his friend made that map in KSP somehow.

Damn you ambiguous English!

Excellent. Be sure to not get friendzoned, and also be sure to act like an aloof asshole or she'll lose interest. Treat her like dirt and she'll love you.

Actually do if she offers and you're comfortable with it. Make sure of both.

So now that you have /goodadvice'd, everything you say from now on is bad advice?

Noted.

Actually, the reason I finally worked up the nerve to was a girl on the bus coming back from my Boston trip that a couple of guys convinced to give dating advice (we're a weird school.) She laid out that there wasn't a realistic chance unless I asked first.
Also, let her touch your butt.

[/good advice]
I seriously doubt the possibility of both her offering and me finding it uncomfortable.
Oh yeah, shoot her, too. All girls like death.
[/even worse advice]
Well I've never heard any complaints.
