Out of those 2200 participants, my team placed 17th. My handle pops up a few times in the Categorical Top 25 too; 6th for Theme, and 22nd for Audio.

For some reason, one of my daily daydreams veered into a new and exciting territory. A long time ago I had come up with an admittedly mediocre and bland idea about a detective, where the big reveal was that he was actually a robot designed to be an exact replica of a deceased person whom he was supposed to 'replace', and he was just so personally realistic that he himself didn't realize he was a robot. The crux of the story hinged on some weak philosophical elements on the nature of consciousness and personal identity, but it was still all so boring it couldn't maintain itself in my live and vivid daydreamscape.

I got to thinking about it again out of nowhere today though, but this time my imagination took it in a new and exciting direction, and now I'm buzzing with new ideas for it, and I'm carefully manicuring it into a video game idea in the vein of Phoenix Wright. I may start writing all this crap down, since this idea isn't impossibly huge and complicated like alot of my daydream adventures are, and it's something people could probably actually relate to instead of being something I deftly hide in a dark corner of my mind.

I'm trying to think of a way to synopsis the idea, just to give others an idea of what I'm getting at, but damn I don't want to do the idea injustice by trying to shoehorn it into a paragraph blurb. I might need to make another of my word-bloated idea threads again. Haha
