Church Latin is not pronounced the same as Classical Authentic Latin; still less the same as legal latin or medical latin. Church Latin is not even the same in every country; in America, they mostly have followed Roman practice, which is to pronounce it almost exactly like Italian; but England is another story altogether, as are France and Germany. I'm not aware of *anywhere* in the world where liturgical Latin is pronounced the way Cicero, Ovid, and Brutus did. For better or worse.

For some reason the novelty of the Prequel side-story-update hasn't worn off yet.
Every time I read it I still inside-laugh (which is about as good as I get). And it's like reading it for the first time too. Ukanorn is an inherently funny word and nobody will convince me otherwise.

Last couple of times I've been really unhappy on my birthday, but today was great. Had a lot of fun hanging around with one of the only people I've clicked with in a long time last night. Then today I had my favourite meal + carrot cake, and my sister made me a cool card and bought me a neat Adventure Time poster .

I went to Michaels and picked up some golden EVA foam (used by cosplayers often for stuff, it's bendy sheets of foam, hold a shape if you heat them up) to make a Xena Chakram for my wall/carrying around in my bag (I require random props in my bag at all times, just in case the need arises. Which probably won't happen this year due to awesome people moving away.) Cheers to the beginning of a long-lived hobby of cosplay.
