I've picked up python programming again (Deon will remember when I was learning it for use in civ4 modding)
Created a small app that draws a circular game board of 4*8 slices and 8 rings.
Next should be initiating the board as a world and defining the game_piece objects.
What is superior though? :
game piece is a value of tile objects (tile piece value is either none, A, B or C)
or
game piece is an object that has a location value in its dictionary of properties.?

I'm leaning towards the second design paradigm myself.

I'm not even thinking of programming an AI yet, can barely play the game meself.

I found another time-waster...Yah!

I got my sword (the starting one) to cover the whole screen.
This is on my old computer though, so I can't get a screenshot.

I want to like the game, it is fun for the most part, but the bosses are just unfair and poorly designed. I'm stuck on the efreet. It shoots dozens of red fireballs of instant death... on a red background. Some of the background is even the exact same shade of red.

You just have to know what a boss's weakness is and power up your sword to that.
I got stuck on the Grim Reaper, which is the second to last boss, if I remember correctly.

 That is actually the third to last boss, and counting the possible side-boss you will likely face for an interesting piece of equipment, perhaps four bosses away from defeating the game.

 Get your fire sword and grind the Snow Queen 'till you have diamonds everywhere. Enchant another sword to have a ton of holy element. Grind the Necromancer for Onyx. Buff up your armor with it. Also remember to grind your endurance and armor level.

 Of course while there is a trick to that boss the one after that is just straight grinding.

Aye. I've been playing An Untitled Story on and off for a while now. Just a few screens of frustration, then nothing for a few days until I start reasoning with myself. I'll win eventually.
