Tomorrow I'm heading to Sydney for a few days to hang with friends at the Supanova convention, as well as other catching up.

My car has three months of Sirius for free. I look down at the display this morning and the song that was playing was "Kiss My Love Goo."

That made me irrationally amused, even after I realized that my display doesn't scroll and the song was actually titled "Kiss My Love Goodbye."

just got back from my canoe trip, the water was high and fast, the going was easy, there were no storms or snake  attacks, no one sunk, no one got sick, the sun burns were not bad, no one got hungover despite heavy drinking.

was a great trip, only 10 friends, could have been better with more.

It's actually really easy, if you have access to an area with the transmitter, or if you can get into the sub-ceiling.

New "Cyber Operations" major at the Naval Academy
The Naval Academy has switched from being the place I was to attend to being the place I have to attend.  I have all the proper excuses.  Family heritage, contacts in the field, and being the only university with the major I want.

Cleaning out old bookmarks from my browser I just rediscovered a band I had forgotten about. Now I am funking out as much as a whitey can possibly do. Budos Band <3

YT-ing that led me to some interesting music. Most prominent being the Shaolin Jazz compilation/remix of sorts. Combining jazz and some rap/hip-hop. Explicit lyrics aplenty.

There's some very awesome stuff in there, like a smooth piano working as a background for a song about how the singer is going to have rough sex with someone or something. The wierd combinations are the best

Yay! After a year of not knowing what to do after I got my Associate degree, I FINALLY submitted an application for a job... a part-time IT job.

I might be over qualified for it though. Still, I'll be looking at what Bachelor's Degree to get in the mean time.
