NO, PYRAMIDS, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN.

NO. BAD BAY12. I come all the way out of studying and working-based endless monotony to say that. NO PYRAMIDS. PYRAMIDS, KILL, CHILDREN. AND ESCAPED LUNATICS.

What kind of sickos kill defenseless escaped lunatics? Terrible people is who. It also is the source of Global warming. Think about it. Think about it.

Don't build pyramids kids.
Does this include all pyramids, or just some kinds? Is a dodecagonagal pyramid allowed? Why are you banning pyramids when quote mounds are actually trapezoids?
Technically they are fluid objects of somekind that shrink and grow based on screen resolution, not pyramidal structures.

So what should we call them then?

The bacon-quail is five minutes from completion.

There are a hilarious amount of ways to increase the bacon in this recipe. Replace the salt with bacon salt, replace the butter that you brush on the quail with bacon fat, and I'm sure there's bacon pepper out there somewhere.

Isn't that just bacon bits or something?

Bacon bits are really not much of anything like pepper. Goes pretty well with pepper, sure, but fairly distinct tastes to 'em.

... there's nothing stopping you from taking a bit of bacon fat (E: It wouldn't take much to get the rest to stick together appropriately.) and mixing it well with bacon bits and pepper then heating it a bit, though, for a sort of freakish bacopepper glaze*. Almost sounds kinda' tasty, honestly. Bacon goes pretty well with pepper. So do bacon bits.

*E2: I've actually done something rather similar using BBQ sauce instead of bacon grease. Consistency's close enough it'd probably work out fine.

Yeah dude, it was pretty good.

Quail tastes a lot like a tiny turkey. I dislike plain turkey, but it's a wonderful canvas. Quail seems to have similar potential.

It was pretty bland where the bacon wasn't touching it, but damn was it good on the bacon places.

But then isn't that the same for everything?
Heck you could put bacon on pine cones and it would work.

Yeah, I was saying that as more of "It absorbs flavor well." I will use this property to my advantage in the future.

After not drawing anything for a while it feels awesome to just sit back and draw crap and not go OCD perfectionist on it worry about how close it is to the reference in quality and similarity. I'm just drawing stuff to draw stuff, and it feels stress free and great.

I wonder if I should post a dev log or such of Charted Waters on Creative Projects. On one hand, I'd love to talk about some of the little features I put into it, such as the Koreanesque random name generator.  On the other hand, if I end up not finishing CW I wouldn't want to join the line of announce and failed roguelikes >_>
