I still frequently wonder why the hell the female lead decided to stick with a supposedly-heroic guy who kidnapped her and tortured her for an indeterminate amount of time. That shit might work in LCS, but I'm not sure V for Vendetta is supposed to be a parody.

Because he was trying to make a point that at any point in time she could have opted out, but she didn't to protect him. She chose Vs ideals over her own safety. That choice is significant, independent of the actual outcome.

Except if I were to find out that the person I had endured hell to protect had been the one inflicting said hell, I would have turned on him on the spot. Dude's been going on about how corrupt the government is and just hypocritically did exactly what he accuses it of doing. It just reeks of Stockholm Syndrome and lazy romance plot to me.

Think I found a new favorite snack: these crunchy baked crackers made of brown rice and flavored with sea salt and ground pepper. Not terribly bad for you and have a fairly short, all natural ingredients list. Delicious too.

riding lawnmowers are nifty

They're like a cross between an ATV and a mobility scooter. My grandpa uses his as one of the latter. Plus, you know, they're much nicer for cutting the lawn than a walk-behind. Or a push mower. Or a scythe.
