Everytime in my mass effect 1 playthrough, if a gun got overheated it would just... stay overheated. Until the next mission at the very least.

Careful micromanagement ensued. Luckily I was playing as a soldier.

I'm skilled enough that I can fire the begining guns for about 45 seconds  non-stop, and late game guns with only an occasional second of not firing.  Get to a high enough level, and you can make it so you can hold down a trigger and never overheat.
I would of been fine if they had it so you could eject a thermal clip to instantly cool down a gun.  That would of been a step foward. 

The thermal clip design was a nice entry and had me stop worrying about overheats as in ME2. What i didn't like though was they trashed attachments and set specialized ammo as a power, i mean really, who actually left that off? It didn't had any cons to leave the ammo power on, it annoyed me more that i had to turn it on every mission.

I'm not going to watch it because I just can't stand this type of humor. Same thing with... Thebestgamers, whatever, that did a satirical review of minecraft. There's just something in me that makes me unable to enjoy it.

Hmmm... I suppose I'll say that I think I expected more of a twist.  But this is a really good build for a sequel.  No complaints.  Only wish I'd sniped more, I think.  I kept getting worried about running out of ammo.

Honestly, I think the ending (and the series in general) would have lost a lost of weight for me if nobody had died at the end. I think I lost Tali, (from not getting a certain ship upgrade) Legion, Thane, and Jack, and the only reason I lost Jack was because I never did her loyalty mission. All in all I think it was a good climax to the game, and it just feels like it wouldn't have gotten me as excited to play the next game if everyone had survived. I dunno, maybe I'm weird like that.

In that case, you might like Renegade Reinterpretations, a Mass Effect AU where humanity makes First Contact with the Batarians and events occur which destroy all Paragon beliefs. Suffice it to say that the Suicide Mission is different.

I enjoyed Thebestgamers somewhat, but this kid is just cringe inducing. Angry, prepubescent screeching is not comedy.

I've discovered that I just don't enjoy playing evil characters in general--it's fine if I decide to do an evil run, but it's not how I choose to play the game on default.  Next time I might let some people die, but I want to play ME3 the first time with everyone available.

Y'know?  I am a huge fan of high tragedies, but the thing is that if you give me a problem I will do what I can to solve it optimally.  That was always my problem with the renegade/paragon thing.  Renegade is supposed to mean that you're *ruthless* and you get the job done no matter what the cost.  But I don't think it's worth inflicting extraneous cost when you might as well take care of everyone... it isn't "sacrifice him or fail the mission."  I'd like there to be places where you take a third option, sacrifice no one and end up screwing the mission pretty hard, but the game doesn't end.

As-is, it feels like the big difference is in Renegade meaning you're needlessly cruel, rather than *justifiably* so.

Ohhhh, okay.  Well, Miranda isn't a strong enough biotic, and Thane isn't a good leader.

I had Samara shield, Tali do the techy stuff, Jacob lead the second team, and Thane escort the crewmembers back to the ship.  My personal team was Jack and Garrus, as usual.

Killed the Larva with a sniper rifle, LOL.

I've decided my priorities for what I want to do with the (somewhat constrictive for reasonable reasons) options given to me about where I will be stationed.

If I don't get a overseas base given to me on the first go, and I can't trade for one, I think I'm going to ask for a voluntary deployment in Korea. Not only will that prevent me from being deployed somewhere else I don't want to be, like those two superheated pieces of glass called "Iraq" and "Afghanistan", but I actually do like Korea.

Also, while every other deployment location has plenty of places to be isolated and alone, I'm 90% certain that the most isolated and wild place in Korea is about 10 miles from some kind of town. XD

It's nice to have a plan, even if my Fuck-up matrix is still in full swing from BMT. I'm sure /something/ will throw this plan into the wall.

During practice today in our NJROTC unit's cyber team, I managed to take an intercepted packet, look at the TCP stream, turn it into a hex dump, put that in a hex editor, and then find a jpeg in that mess.  What's best is that we weren't given any instruction on how to do that.  I feel so accomplished. 
Of course, that was almost taken away when I tried to do some file carving, but that's another story.

That what I loved about ME2.  While the very, very end was blue ending/red ending, the whole suicide mission was the ending, to me.  You had to know your squad.  Who in your team is a strong biotic?  Who is good with tech?  Who would make a good leader?  Who has trouble with a certain hold the line speech?  If they just had that in ME3, then I could of excused the different color endings.  Let me decide where to put which fleet,who I want to help charge a position, all of that.
