Just returned from swimming in the moonlight ('twas full moon). Was fun aside from my toes freezing, due to it being 5ºC (41ºF) outside. Been a rather cool day as well, so the water probably didn't get that warm to begin with.

Whew! Made it 40 miles past Reno, Nevada before calling it a day. There's basically nothing for the next few hundred miles, so better to pull off now. Still further than I originally planned to go.

Gotta say, now that I'm actually on the road and moving forward, I'm a lot less nervous. For good or ill, I'm committed now, and that makes a large portion of stress pretty much evaporate away.

Of course, there's still something around 1800 miles to go...
