Just came in from the first heavy thunderstorm of the season. I missed these things so much. It's still cold enough to wear layers, but they make me happy.

Also noticed something really neat about the structure of tree branches. The change in the angle of the branch, when new branches grow from old ones, makes a low-lying crook on fairly young branches. Rainwater collects at this low point before dripping off, which means, when water freezes on tree branches around here, it puts most of the weight on weak and young branches, which can cleanly snap off, instead of shattering the wood along the length of a branch and killing the whole thing. It's rather elegant!

Got no forseeable homework from now until Monday, so I'm (relatively) stress-free.

I also probably nailed that pre-calculus test, despite my not really doing any of the review.

Oh, and I got a 97 for my midterm mark in Chem3U. Simple stuff. :3

Finished doing my big math exam that I spent ages preparing for... most of the rest of the people in the class seemed less than prepared. I think I did well, I think I'm also going to be doing a bit of tutoring next week... Feels good, my hand which is cramping from the massive amounts of writing I've done recently feels less good though.
