It depends on what the chemicals they used were exactly, but some of them can give you pretty nasty chemical burns.

As I understand it, that one uses a more directional force, so it wouldn't shake the hand. And I have to assume it's variable, because otherwise that wouldn't be a pleasant experience for anyone. It does not need to function as a subwoofer as well as a back-massager.

In concept, that WOULD be a lot of fun. Regarding the toxicity, just don't give it to kids, be careful handling the stuff and/or wear gloves, and you should be fine. Though, with such thin membranes of glow-in-the-dark solution per bubble, I don't know if the bubbles would emit much light. And it might weaken them structurally too. I'd like to see it in action before I made a big thing of it.

Well they did say in the thing that you don't need to go at "full power", but what I was getting at is that it seems like they might have a little too much power. I mean there's a reason we don't make back scratchers with razor sharp claws. There's scratching an itch, then there's scratching an itch...

But I am by no means an expert on this stuff.

... Are you getting at that some people might need more power because they're less sensitive, or that some people might use too much power because they don't feel the damage being done?

If you do use extra power too much, you can get nerve damage, thus decreasing your sensitivity.

Well, I mean, it is quite possible to get nerve damage there from things like rape and childbirth.  So what I'm trying to say is, just because it'd be too strong for some (most?) people doesn't mean it's not really just right for others.  Besides, I kind of doubt that it's chainsaw-level. . .
