Playing a Scrabble rip-off on my new smart phone; since I don't have any of my family's names, I've just been playing with random people. Between being really tired and deprived of caffeine, I used a cheat site against one guy to come up with the word "trolands", using up every single one of my chips and even hitting a couple of triple letter spots and earning me 48 whopping points.

He messages me, asking, "What does that mean?"
My response: "It means that I get 48 points! "

He resigned right after that. Made my day.

Spore wasn't a bad game, just a victim of its own hype... and somewhat rightfully so, since the hype wasn't undeserved.  The customers were simply robbed, and deserved to be angry about it.  Regardless, I enjoyed it for a while.  The first stage was my favorite.  There was something so satisfying about it.  I spent a bunch of time trying to beat it without ever dying, and I came incredibly close once.  Only died once, and it was just before finishing the stage.

I sometimes feel like playing Spore, and I do occationally, but I'm always looking for a mod that reduces the amount of quests/pirate raids in the Space Stage as I would really just like to explore. It's annoying that I seem like the only one who's able to solve peoples problems and if I don't complete the quests I gain a diplomacy penalty with that alien race.

I can't explore because everyone needs my awesome skills of problem solving.
