Both my children were born with blue eyes. My daughter's stayed blue, my son's turned dark brown.

And I loved Aussie Rules footy when I was introduced to it. And by "introduced", I mean I was invited to play a pickup game when I was 16 and visiting Australia. They forgot to inform me that anyone within about 2 meters of the ball is fair game. For pretty much ANYTHING.

Cue me running alongside the ball carrier, then getting blindsided and left in a crumpled heap. As far as teams, I wanted to pull for Adelaide since that's where I was spending most of my time, but Geelong was the hot shit then.

Why would you breed with an Other/White Walker, though?

Oh yeah. Necrophiliacs.

... Yeah, I was born with black eyes.  Plenty of babies are.  Uh, and I'm Caucasian.  My father has green eyes, mom has brown, and I have a kind of tawny-and-dark-brown combo going.

Howdy, Wolfeyez :3

Happy: one of my math professors said behind my back that I was "very bright," I'm probably going to join a puzzle-solving competition in April (seems like a great way to blow a day and it might get me a job), and folks have been saying that my haircut looks "professional" o_O  Oh, and my presentation today went extremely well, even though I hadn't eaten or even slept more than two hours.

There is what is called the '2 by 2' rule. Firstly, anybody within 2 meters of the ball is meat, secondly anybody within 2 meters of the field is playing.
Welcome to Australia!

That is a good point, what did happen to Cthulhu and Armok? Did their mutual hate for each other lead to them destroying each other?

Cthulhu and Armok are actually dorm-mates: Armok has class and stuff during the day, so he's more active, and Cthulhu has night school so he's sleeping the whole while.

Unless you meant the actual users. I dunno about them.

I'd comment on the other happies if I had anything to say about them beyond "That is pretty great!", which each of them sounds to be. However, having just checked the photo thread, I can confirm that folks are absolutely right.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Armok pops up every once in a while. Normally when you least expect it.

Found out that my staunch conservative seventy-five year old grandmother is a diehard fan of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.  That made for some delightful dinner conversation.

Aww, thanks.  This is good, because I feel a lot better with short hair.  It's kind of funny, but it feels like I'm being much more true to myself (even though it's just a haircut!).

That was a bit of a creepy thing to open a spoiler to. But they are quite pretty eyes.
