They are laptops, just minimal spec as opposed to recent gaminglaptops.
And the screen res sucks for most apps.
running windowed just causes extra scrolling bars etc to limit your visable screen.
Maybe adjusting standard fontsize to a smaller size will make a difference in my text editors, but I doubt it will make a difference with browsing webpages or playing online web games.

Dicewars is fun, but easy.
Anacreon is fun
some others I know to be fun.
WinSPWW2 y SPBT (F) - wazzat?
VirtualUniversity (F) - sims in school?

I just got Master of Orion 3 to work on my Samsung NC10 netbook rather smoothly. I'm using the chocolate unofficial patch and no cd mod. The game should be fun to play during travel and boring lectures.

Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is now free.  pretty sweet little game, and i highly recommend the sequel, Wierd Worlds: Return to Infinite Space.

In fact, just about anything made by Digital Eel is worth playing.

So are the little minimalist games by Matt Makes Games.  "An Untitled Story" is an especially engaging and difficult platformer.
