As you move closer to inspect the water, you notice a pond grabber. It is too late for it not to notice you, as it's tentacles begin to reach up out of the water and move towards you!

You slash using your dagger at the advancing tentacle, and back up as it moves closer. The tentacles are moving quite slowly, so you don't really have to worry too much. Ratt moves in to help and starts beating on another tentacle. Telemachus starts firing his bow at the tentacles, which doesn't seem to have much effect. Slimdus begins to move back, slightly afraid of the tentacle monster for obvious reasons.

You bite into the flesh of the pond grabber to no effect as it begins to drag you towards it's body. Ratman laughs at your idiocy, and El Ele'phantai toots a warcry and charges at the tentacles, ripping them off the body. The pond grabber makes a bubbly scream in pain.
