It is a mappe of the local area!
According to the Mappe, there are four known settlements around here. You are at the human town (brown X). You came from the batman cave (blue X). You could go looking for virgins in the kobold warren to the far east (black X), or the planned site for a dwarf fortress (purple X).
Rumour has it there are also some ratmen near the dwarf fortress.
