Prisoners (abducted children)
« on: September 18, 2009, 08:09:10 pm »

Long time player and lurker, first time poster here. HI MOM

Is there any way to deliver liberated prisoners to their families? Or just find them a place to live?

My only real guess is to lead them to a town and retire.
When you restart that adventurer, he should be living there.

But I also think you can dismiss them somehow

You can dismiss them with a hammer.

If you gave them a biome then the Elves may indeed start turning up with Wagons in cages.
Well, it does tie in to the fact that personality-wise, dragons are nothing more than gigantic, scaly, firebreathing cats.

I usually let them handle the next ambush of wolves.  Generally they die.  They are also fun to beat up, because they will take a beating until they pass out, at which point they seem to become friendly again.

Would you like to join? We do 4d6+1, drop the lowest. You can play an "african-american" beach dwarf, if you like. They have a +9 against ogres!

(... Yes, I base a campaign setting on my favourite DF world.)
