That's what feather is for, give it a few pixels of leeway and you should have quite nice results, alteast i did most of the time :)

I've been experimenting with building a form out of boxes then refining the boxes into contours. This is probably the best I've done, but I'm really unsatisfied with it (WIP, obviously).



Any hints, ladies and gents? Perspective has been chewing away at me for months. I'm doing drills of sketching cubes and bits of fruit, but anything else would be appreciated.

They look very good though, worm or no worm. I don't really think I'm qualified to make say constructive about the perspective piece either, but it looks good to my unskilled eyes as well. I am slightly jealous.

...I'll just go back to looking at all the pretty pictures now.

Just wanted to share my first real stab at pixel art. Meant to be the logo for Skullsprout Games (independent game co consisting of only me at the moment).



I originally sketched it from life and then scanned and rough painted it in photoshop. Then I converted the whole thing to pixel art are by hand with the pencil tool.

Drew something from the space colonisation thread. Something to do with nuclear submarines and biospheres that I had to mash together and be stupid about



The USS Spess is a nuclear submarine with a bisophere taped to the back. Someone put rockets on it and pointed it at mars.

A: Which Cataclysm? (though I can guess that one)

B: Which Scout? (again, I can guess, but I didn't play that Cataclysm, and I'm not sure if its Scouts are the same as the TF2 ones)

I just upgraded from a dinky A6 Genius WizardPen to a considerably less dinky Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen&Touch M, so I could try to do something with it.

Been wanting to do a beastiary of sorts for Dorf Fort's more unique creatures. Although, I'm having trouble imagining how big a dwarf would be next to the creature.

 A voracious cave crawler is 900,000 cm3, but it's really long. A dwarf is only 60,000 cm3. Anybody care to help me guess at how big a dwarf would be standing next to this cave crawler?

Another old drawing finished. I didn't use any references for this one, partly because it'd be dangerous to do it IRL.

Currently, the most off-putting thing about the drawing is the sailor himself. He's flat and artificial, and I'll likely try to revise it later.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how I can get a proper reference or do the environment more convincingly/atmospherically, I'd love to hear it.
