Been trying to do more painted stuff but my skills don't really want to cooperate. It would help if I had a working copy of photoshop.

Also I did the coloured pic at the bottom while drunk.  Still drunk now. Pretty much guaranteed to look in the morning and go 'what the shitfuck is going on with those tiny wings'. Heyo.

Jopax: I really like your latest, very nice texture and colours, could use a bit more detail at places to make it even more badass, the arms and posture are a bit fishy, but the overall feel is great. I can see that you've become a lot better lately, as I've been following this thread for quite a time.

lordnincompoop: The overall composition is actually pretty awesome, the "wonky" perspective makes it more dramatic. Love the facial expression on that man. A thing that bothers me a bit is the shading, it's great on the character, not so great on the building. Also the mustache is a bit low, and that dark spot left of the thingamabob that's holding his cloak together is a bit too dark.

I'm going to make two identical (more or less) pictures as birthday presents for the two girls in the picture. Definately lots of work ahead, the girl on the right doesn't look like herself at all yet.

Ah, thanks for the advice. I'll see what I can do about the building, and perhaps submit a revised copy. It'll be difficult considering I only have tissues to smooth gradients, but ah well.

What I meant by "wonky" perspective was that not all of the piece's elements use the same points of perspective. I was forced to change it relatively late in the drawing to make it align with the figure, and I just couldn't get myself to redo the details. A lesson learnt, though.

Re. your sketch, there's just two things I'd like to point out. One is that the left girl's head looks rather conical (look just above the ponytail) and that the one on the right is rather masculine, and vaguely unpleasant. I can't put my finger on it, and I don't know for certain how well you're doing without a reference for the subjects, but there you go anyway.

I think the biggest issue is the mans leg, it looks kind of out of place and wrong, the building while being bent kind of seems right, like it's supposed to bend in unnatural ways.

I don't usually come around here but I could use some criticism regarding
a drawing I did that doesn't look quite right to me. So I can figure out what I'm getting wrong in anatomy and coloring.

The legs look a bit flat and his entire left side is very distorted, starting with his manboob (trollboob?) being cut in half and his left upper arm being a bit too thick.
