I got bored, so I drew Clown from my forum game...

This is rather amazing; the number of people posting art here almost outnumber the critics. Why is there not more analysis, suggestions, and questions? Of which, I have one to Jopax; is that a straw scarecrow melded with a streetlamp? I thought so, but I'm not sure where the planks or the cylindrical thing on its back came from.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

It pierces its victim, holds it up high, and drinks the blood that comes out. I like it.

can it actually sustain itself just on blood?

also, i love the texture, it's mesmerizing. can you upload a version in the original def? assuming you worked on it on a higher definition

I painted it in a higher res, but did not save. i usually do that with aimless paintings.

Anyway as for the textures, i have a large collection of photo textures that i throw over my paintings (i edit them abit to suit the angle). here i used various rock textures found on the net and a watercolors mix on paper i made myself sometime ago.

haven't been here in a while....
anyways: some kind of practice I did a couple days ago. Focus was on value rather than detail or getting things to look the right shape or whatever. + I can't resize it right now, just zoom out or something?
Also: NSFW or something
