I was watching some old documentary on CGI from the early 90's, and one of my buddies said 'the sad thing is nowadays any kid with access to 3dmax can do something that looks a hundred times better than that'. And so i took his taunt and made something productive out of it.

One of three things I drew during lunch. I used an HB pencil and cheap copier paper, and edited values in Photoshop. Someday I'd like to come back to this and redo it with moar skillz and better materials.

I wish I had a tablet. Right now the process goes pencil to paper then scan and try and fix the colours that the scanner messes up. Would love to be able to produce the nice smooth lines of a tablet...

Oh believe me, they are far from smooth. I need dozens of tries to get a straight/smooth line, and apparently even good designers/artists need five or so tries.
