Sorry for being such a noob, but I did read the first post, and was like, oh cool, I was just telling myself how since half of my grade is art related, I should practice!

So, since I DIDN'T read the next 149 or so pages, what do I need to do to "Start" Do I just start drawing, you tell me how badly I suck (See, cause I already know that I suck badly, I just don't know in what ways,  ), I try and fix it and you continue pointing things out until I'm beautiful?

Or do I need to do some shifty initiation things? Or... Well, just tell me, and I'll hop to it!

Once you've seen that image, you can't unsee it, and you WILL see blue-orange EVERYWHERE.

I'm sorry I implanted that into your meme-memory. The problem with blue-orange is that it's pretty, and works really well for day-night, warm-cold, good-evil, fire-stone, foreground-background, air-water, and numerous other subjects.

Red, the contrast thing works well for what you are doing. But I think you have a pretty good handle of it now and maybe you should try some color studies to get a better handle on color in whole.

If you work digitally, swear off the eyedropper when doing color studies and you will be a better painter for it.
