The idea is nice but... It makes you look hairy. As in long, fuzzy sasquatch hair. In places where it shouldn't be (right below the eyes for instance, humans have no hair there, and on the nose).
I'd leave it all in, but remove the triangles from any skin. Eyebrows, hair, clothing is ok, and your "music flowing out" is great.

The triangles on the headset were awesome, but it does look better without them covering the rest as well.

I just got Mirror's Edge a couple of days ago and played it through; fun game.
Damn, it must have influenced me.

I can smile (and hold it) easily. In fact, all that smiling made me feel happy.

Also, I think a more well defined neck would help you. Currently it's kinda vague.

And remove the red warpaint under the eyes. Make hair triangles more subtle, smaller, less in-your-face. Same goes for eyebrows & eyes.

Well, to me at least, it's too visible.

And make a smoother transition then. Make the bottom or whatever normal-ish then make it gradually more intense.

I made it all retarded and somewhat Android Jones-like (I'm sure he'd be horrified)

Ah well, I had fun, I don't really want to delete it either.

Also, I may do a self portrait every day for good practice.
