I'm a bit confused on why he looks so Native American.

I mean, the art's good, but I'm not really sure it fits the setting. It looks more Feudal Japan to me.

Like a bolt from the blue, it's time for another glorious masterpiece by me!



The pose looks off, somehow. If you can point out anything specific that's wrong with it, I would much like to hear. Also, I never really decided on which side the sun is on, and that will have to be fixed if I ever color this or something.

Oh, and the cloak blends to the background too much, although if you were wearing a cloak, you might want it to do exactly that. I think this is because I did not add enough weird fractal patterns and outrageous wind effects.

I'm pretty happy with this, but can someone help me out as to where the shadowing should actually be?

Vester: First decide where you light source is. Is it the sun? A torch? Once you know where it is guestimate how the light is hitting the form. Another good way is the take a picture of someone in the same lighting that you want and then use it as a reference for where the shadows lay.
