Also, blender is good if you haven't gotten used to a program with a less cliff-like learning curve. (In my opinion anyway)

I dreamed last night that Toady One had wrapped up the latest version and was getting ready to release it. That's weird because for awhile now, save for checking out the DFTalks, I haven't really been following the game too closely.

Ignoring the awful background (except for the clouds), how does it look?
I myself am surprised at how those clouds came out, even though I know they aren't perfect.  I'm going to experiment with them more.

Edit:  I experimented with the clouds more.  That, and the background.  Still not too good, I don't think, but much better than the three streaks of blobby color in the first version.

I'm satisfied with how this turned out. The cloak looks a bit weird, but that's intentional; it's made of phantom spider silk, gathered from translucent spiders, and it doesn't care about your physics.

Is the hair also made of that fabric? I don't think hair in the wind looks quite like that.
