Didn't you post that one walker here before? The one in the first picture, 6 o'clock. Or maybe it was just something similar.

E: Nope, was thinking about this one. Mi scusi.

stickadtroja:  Awesome painting!  Can I assume you used a Wacom and Photoshop/Illustrator?

I've started some illustration work recently and feel as though I have to get a Wacom to keep up with the Jone's, although I am practicing with gouache paint for the meantime as in the following I did yesterday.  I also did a little digital touch up for the distance effect.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This is a DF fan painting I call "A Caravan Has Arrived".

Does anyone use a Wacom with the GIMP?  If so how does it work out with pressure sensitivity and all?  I do plan to get one soon but I do not plan on spending $1000+ for any Adobe products, as much as I love them, but seriously...  Also, I use Linux and I don't think they provide for Linux anyway.

I would totally make that my background if it was more background appropriate size. That's pretty damn awesome.

Works okay. I never got the buttons on my Wacom Bamboo Fun working in Linux, but the pressure sensitivity is just fine.

I use a wacom with GIMP, i think the pressure sensitivity is great, although you may have to fine-tune is to get it perfect.

A little mouse-drawn, Oekaki-style fan art for Freeformschooler's "The Warrens of Oric the Awesome" forum game.

Pardon the size, but the scroll-down is part of the effect. (Click for full size)

Now I'm really upset I don't have a bigger laptop screen. It has to compress it a bit! :C

@EagleV, no probs, I have a thing for military hardware and it's great inspiration, awesome that you remember that piece tho :D
@stickadtroja, yeah, I'm still not comfortable enough with digital, not sure, I've tried sketchy stuff but it doesn't turn out that good or natural, pencils are simply a sit and draw matter, digital stuff takes more thought for some reason :S

Also have some more:

Also have rediscovered how awesome crayons are, I'll try and get the piece scanned at the library :D

Edit:
Also also quick doodle, really liking this one swirly textured brush :D

Edit.2 (because no one wants to post :C ):
More mechs, this time based off of a certain pre-WW2 tank (guess which one?):

It has its issues but I like that I managed to capture atleast some of the original tanks features and translated into something different, something I had only been doing unintentionally until recently X)
