Jopax: I think the shape of the head should be more defined. The torso's smudged too, but you can still get a clear sense of the space it occupies. The head just sort of looks like you slapped a face on a blob and called it a day. Besides that, I think it's really calling for some visible arms.

Anyway, I really like how you can get a clear sense of the space the torso occupies. Effective shading, there.

As for myself, I picked a palette from colorhunter and utilized it to draw some faces and monsters and shit. I'm not actually sure whether this is the intended purpose of that site, but I have a fetish for limited palettes.

Yeah, the upper parts of the head do look blurred from this distance, the face itself i think is mostly ok, perhaps the mouth area could use some more texture/shade to indicate that it's kind of a bony mass instead of the classical feeding/regurgitating opening.

And no arms I'm afraid, the general idea was that of decomposition or fading out violently, sort of like dubstep has it's ups and downs and whatnots :)

Just a little thing I slapped together in about 20-30 minutes.

Ooh, interesting.

I think the shadow beneath should be darker, but that's just me.

The sword seems to bend somewhat.

If you're looking for criticisms, and it's hosted elsewhere (such as DeviantArt) then PM me the link and I'll send a comment back. Nudity doesn't really bother me subject-wise. Just because you can't post it here doesn't mean you can't get criticism here. :)

Not sure if this is massively relevant - but I hope you don't mind if I mix it up a bit, with a different type of drawing. This is me trying my 'mark-up' skills on a tablet, for submission to CAD. It doesn't have the speed and efficiency of a trusty biro (despite copy-paste magic), but it was fun and quite relaxing to take my time over this drawing.

I can't really say anything about it as I am not really good at reading diagrams.

Let's just say I appreciate revenge. Strange things grow in these caves... Lichen, crystals, jealousy...

Heh, if looks could kill :P

Something I threw together in about 15 minutes. Vent art of some sort I guess... Due to recent events in my life I just had the need to draw anything linked with female jealousy.

Oh god the lower eyelashes  :'( The symmetry... Did the eye on the left first, that's probably why it's worse. No matter how careful I am, I always screw something up x__X

The only thing I actually enjoy drawing is these "concept-art" sketches of vehicles.
I really should draw more from life instead of trying to imitate the working process of concept artists, the fact that everything I draw from life looks like extremely horrifying shit is not an excuse.

I would say that's a rather good excuse, actually.

If it's as horrifying as you make it sound, I'm sure there's someone looking for a Call of Cthulhu concept artist.

Basically, it is a knight armor held together by darkness with teeth and eyes.

Picture a bit big. Put in spoiler.

He seems to be one solid form, rather than armor. Perhaps if you could add more definite edges and pieces.

I'm refining my particular style more, this time with brony art. Not sure if I like the background with the mountains, they seem very bland but are supposed to be to keep attention away from them.

I think maybe I'll dull them a bit, since the color is a bit distracting.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I could do that.

I like the energy blast style.

I think it is a general idea that the further away mountains are, the more they fade into the background.
