I don't see much resemblance other than the stomach to be honest. Isn't the skin of gorons more greenish than that? Bah, I haven't played in ages.
No, they're reddish brown through and through.

It's probably a better idea to save your images as a .PNG, Aglathan. As you can see, your pictures get that junk around the edges of lines (I honestly can't remember what that's called though).

I know, i have everything saved in png and some other formats (tiff or sai), but my pc has died, and i dont remember where my backups are.

Oh, and in the goblins (and some other things i have here) i have used a program called Paint tool SAI, it is great for converting linework to vectors (take some time, but not much).

Here, one example (i need to scan new things... this one have almost one year):

Yeah.... i need to learn how to make shadows (and a bunch of other things, but for now, shadows).

I've substituted a good drawing with twenty bad ones. By that I mean I have an animation. Flash chewed it up a lot when I exported but it seemed alright in swf form.

I want to know if the motions are believable

too many frames on the hand raising, to few on the wave itself

Didn't want to post here without any new doodle (or something to comment on), but since the thread is silent, and I'm not feeling creative...

Here, an old study about poses (it was fun to do it, another good math class wasted, I'm glad that I don't have to do them anymore) (long image)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Anyway, thanks for the comments, I will keep showing up from time to time to get some help when I start working on shadowing and maybe scenaries (I can't even draw a wall)

@Askot Bokbondeler Português Brasil   :)

Aglathan - That's cool, I like it.

Your next task is to draw all the intermediate frames between all the poses and animate it ;)

Aglathan: cumprimentos para esse lado do atlantico :)

great job with those pose studies, really, all of them. a really lazy artist could make a comic using nothing but copy pasting those drawings XD

actually, i challenge any non artist reading this to do just that

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I quickly tossed this thing together, for another thread. Now, there are some boring anatomical problems, but I'm mostly concerned about the slight artifacting on the edges of the color fields. I drew it with the Gimp ink tool, and lowered color depth to get that pixellated look, and the Gimp insisted on mapping the colors to the best of its ability, causing some wrong-colored pixels in the transitions. Are there any wizardly tricks to prevent this? I just want to use the ink tool without getting smooth edges, and haven't found a setting for this.

I suppose I could just create the palette first and start off with an indexed image, in which case things work out as I want, but It's not quite ideal. And neither is using the pencil tool with pressure set to brush size.
