I think you'll find that that image doesn't work at all if you invert it :\

Edit: Or are you just talking about the black and white part of it?

Let me explain it a bit more, I don't want to sound like Org :P.

The whole gray-and-black theme is really appealing to the eye. And the character design is cool, I adore his curious look. It's almost cute.
